Hello, I am Maria from Manado, Indonesia. I am 25 years old. I graduated from the Nursing Profession at the Manado Ministry of Health Polytechnic and i have internship experiences in the Nursing Field including Pediatric and Gerontic Nursing.
I think my educational background and experiences can help me starting work as an Au Pair and Caregiver for elderly.
I am the first grandchild in my family. The age difference between me, my younger brother and cousins is big and my cousins are still children now. We live together for over 14 years, and I loved being around them. The presence of them who are still children makes me laugh more and be happier. And that made me love kids and that made this Au Pair program more interesting to me.
I also live with my grandparents. And when they are sick, I take care of them.
I also have internship experience  in a Nursing Home with elderly patients. When I take care of them, I feel like I am taking care of my grandparents.
I am also happy when I can use the knowledge and skills I gain and learn on my university for my family and other people.
I am a person who smiles often. I believe that smiling at others can have a positive impact on our lives.
I also enjoy learning new languages and cultures. I have taken a Dutch course in Jakarta, Indonesia and I have made a lot of new friends. I am also happy to have made a new friends from the Netherlands.
My hobbies are listening to music and watching movies. I can learn foreign languages better through music and movies.
After completing my duties as an Au Pair and Caregiver for elderly, I plan to continue looking for work and increase my work experience abroad.
My hobbies are also doing sports that I like regularly. The sports are running, playing badminton and swimming. I used to do karate but now I don't do karate anymore.
