Dear Family,
I am a retired teacher of English( MA), aged 71, with great work and life experience that I gained during the years spent at various schools with kids&teenagers and adults from 5-65 . In the meantime, I raised my daughter (with little help from my husband.), took care of my old parents, managed everything around the house, from fixing lunch,cleaning the flat, paying the bills, etc. to changing light bulbs!
I've been taking care of my grandchildren for 10 years( Sara,10ephen, 3). I'm a great help to my daughter in the upbringing and educating of our angels.I don't have an infant carer certificate but I have a ten-year experience with infants, toddlers, etc. gained in my own family.
I am very active, hike and love talking to people. I am communicative, tolerant, helpful and open to new ideas and learning new things. I am reliable and serious .
I do not own a driver’s license,
I am a EU passport holder. ( Hungarian ).
I speak Hungarian,Serbian on a native level, English fluently,and
am able to communicate in German on a lower intermediate level, in Italian
on an elementary level.
In 1973 I spent two months as a Nanny/ Nurse at a Children’s
Home in Stoke-on-Trent, England with children from 1-8 yrs
During 1992 I worked at a Kindergarten ( kids from 4-6 yrs), it was a part-time job.I looked after the children of my friends--it was a paid job---for more than two years.
During the summer of 2004 I spent 2 months at a Home for the elderly and helped nurses. I
talked to people there and tried to comfort them and answered their questions. I gained the ability to be patient, tactful and helpful with them. They enjoyed my company and proved to be very satisfied and content.
My love towards them always helped me to find the best way to get near them and help. I loved my job very much. My motto is that everybody has the right to live a happy life no matter how old or healthy they are.
I looked after my aunt for three years , from 2011 to 2014. I was doing all the work that was to be done in a household. She loved being with me as we also chatted on different topics: films, arts, cultures, theatre, travelling and so on. And, above all, we laughed a lot so time passed really fast for us.
I am honest, have very good manners and can adapt easily.
I can do some light housework,help be a Granny, au pair, a helping hand to the mother in doing household chores,however I'd rather not cook--I am very bad at cooking. :( I can take care of kids or adults if they need my help. I can also entertain them.
I am outgoing, tolerant,patient, helpful and open to new ideas and learning new things. I am also reliable and honest.
I wish to be the member of the family, not just an employee.
