My name is Zeynep, I’m 22 years old, and currently in my 6th semester studying English and Economics at LMU in Munich. After completing my Master’s degree, I plan to become a secondary school teacher—working with young people and sharing knowledge has always been a passion of mine. I also believe that learning from children is just as valuable—some people say that's the secret to staying young at heart, and I couldn’t agree more!

I’m excited to become an Au Pair because I love the idea of becoming part of a family while exploring life in a new country. It’s a unique opportunity to experience a different culture not as a tourist, but as someone who belongs. I’m especially drawn to Australia—the vibrant lifestyle, the nature, and the people inspire me. Being an Au Pair is the perfect way to combine my love for children with my desire to discover life on the other side of the world.

At the moment, I work as a social worker supporting children who are homeless or without stable families. I accompany them throughout their day, offer guidance, and help them find their own path in life. This experience has made me deeply empathetic, patient, and skilled at forming trust-based relationships with children and teenagers. I also frequently care for my young nephew and used to babysit my younger cousins, so I’m very familiar with children of different ages. In addition to this hands-on experience, I have an academic background in pedagogy due to my minor in pedagogy at university which has given me a solid understanding of child development and educational approaches. This combination of practical experience and theoretical knowledge helps me interact with children thoughtfully and responsibly.

Job Qualification:
Although I haven’t worked as an official Au Pair before, I have extensive experience caring for children through babysitting my younger cousins, looking after my nephew, and working as a social worker with children and teenagers from difficult backgrounds. These roles have taught me how to build trust, be patient, and support children in their daily lives.

I want to become an Au Pair abroad because it’s a unique way to experience a new culture from within a family, rather than just as a visitor.
