Dear host family,


My name is María, I am 28 years old and I live in Almería (Andalucía) Spain with my family . We are a very close, sociable and communicative family. My family is so large and I love it. I have two nephews and I love it. I love children, I have several years of experience working care children, professionally and personally. I have been always surrounded children!

When I finished high school, I decided to study infant child education and in this moment I´m studying Pedagogy Montessori. For me, it was one of the most important decisions in my life.
I love working with children because they know how to get the best out of myself and I try to teach them to do their best. It is a very rewarding job.


I have experience in caring for children from four months to eight years, girls and boys too. In 2011 I took care of a sibling, who was seven, and ten years. The experience was great. I used to wake up the children, have breakfast together, help them to get dressed, going to the school or play together.
Afterwards, I took care of my nephew and my niece during your first months of life. This supposed me a great change in my life.
Besides childcare experience, I also love reading books and painting and I´m loving the animals when I have some leisure time, practice yoga, traveling and learning about other cultures and ways of life, meeting new people, talking and sharing experiences, going out with friends or preparing lunch or dinner with my family or with my friends too. I like healthy eating, cooking and I’m vegetarian.
