Dear Host Family,
My name is Matias, and I would be thrilled to become your au pair. I am a reliable, caring, and energetic young man who truly enjoys spending time with children and being part of family life.
I grew up with two younger sisters, which has taught me patience, responsibility, and the value of supporting those around me. I am also very comfortable with dogs and pets, as they have always been a natural part of my home.
Through my work in customer service, sales, and warehouse jobs, I have developed strong skills in communication, responsibility, and working efficiently. And in addition to these, I´ve also been in the army, which taught me discipline and leading skills. These experiences have made me adaptable and ready to take initiative when needed.
Languages are one of my strengths: my native language is Finnish, I speak good Swedish, I have studied Spanish, and I am fluent in English. I love learning new cultures and believe that language is a great way to connect with people. And when it comes to learning, I have 12 years of education behind, and I´m especially good at science subjects, such as math and physics. So tutoring and helping with school work is something that im already used to and keen to help with!
I also hold a valid driver’s license, which I have had for 4 years, and I feel confident driving in different situations.
In my free time, I am very active. I have played football and tennis for many years, which has taught me teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. I believe these qualities also make me a positive and reliable role model for children. On top of these hobbies i love seasonal sports, such as skiing and swimming.
As your au pair, I would bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a caring attitude into your home. I would be happy to help with household tasks, cooking, support your daily routines, and make sure your children feel safe, happy, and inspired.
