My name is Sheila and I am a recent university graduate from the United States. I am 23 years old and I have a degree in Political Science and International Affairs. I am currently taking a gap year and I want to get my masters degree afterwards. I believe that my gap year will be a great opportunity to become an au pair and experience life in France.
I have a lot of experience with babysitting. I am the oldest of three siblings and I grew up babysitting my younger siblings when my parents were at work. I got my first job when I was seventeen years old in high school in a sports and fitness club in my hometown. I worked with children that were eighteen months to seven years old and I coached classes that included games and activities that promoted physical and social growth. I also volunteered at my local summer camp during my summer breaks in high school where I was in charge of leading activities for large groups of children.
The past three years I babysat children for several families through the babysitting company Urbansitter. I have five star reviews from the families I worked with. The children I babysat this year were six months to nine years old. I have had great experiences with babysitting and childcare jobs throughout my life and I believe I can use the skills I gained to be a great au pair.
I want to be an au pair because I believe that it will be a rewarding experience for me as well as your family. Moving to France is something I have wanted to do since I was a child. France is so diverse and rich with culture and I am really passionate about learning about new cultures as well as sharing my culture.
