Hi! My name is Greta, I'm 19 years old and I come from Predazzo, a small village in Val di Fiemme, Trentino, in northern Italy.
This year I graduated from an Art High School, where I studied for five years. I've always been very interested in art and creativity, and one of my favourite things to do is drawing. In my free time, I also really enjoy listening to music and spending time with my friends.
I'm a very calm and rather shy person at first, but once I get to know someone and feel comfortable, I become much more outgoing, friendly and cheerful. I really enjoy getting to know new people and experiencing new things, and I think living with a host family would be a wonderful opportunity to do that.
I also really love animals, especially cats. I had a cat who was with me for 17 years, so animals have always been a very important part of my life.
I'm currently studying to get my driving licence, and I hope to have it before I leave.
I would really love to go to Edinburgh because I already had the chance to visit Scotland when I was 16, when I spent three weeks there as part of a study abroad experience. I really loved my time there and I fell in love with Edinburgh in particular. Since then, I've always wanted to come back and experience the city again, but this time for a longer period and in a completely different way.
