My name is Alberto, and I am a 21-year-old guy from Italy with Colombian roots. Thanks to my mother, I grew up with a deep appreciation for family, empathy, and human connection, values that are at the core of my South American heritage.
Growing up in a house with a large garden and a pool, daily maintenance was just part of our routine. My mother always taught me the importance of helping out, a lesson that became invaluable when I moved out at 19 to live independently in Milan and now Monza. Today, I am completely self-sufficient in running a home: from grocery shopping and daily chores to manual work and home maintenance, which I actually really enjoy doing. I also love cooking and preparing healthy meals. I am a non-smoker, a confident cyclist (fully ready for the Dutch biking lifestyle!), and I speak fluent English, alongside my native Italian and Spanish. If you’d like, I would be thrilled to share the Spanish language and its colorful culture with your children.
Professionally, I have a diverse background that has shaped my work ethic. Working in logistics taught me strict organization and order, while my time in fashion retail helped me develop strong communication skills. Currently, I work in a recording studio; a role that perfectly aligns with my creative soul and my passion for music. In this environment, it is essential to adapt quickly to the clients' needs while keeping enthusiasm and creativity high.
I bring this same mindset to my daily life. I try to live in the present, finding joy in small things and transmitting peace to those around me. Over the years, I have learned to use moments of solitude for personal growth, finding a strong inner balance that brings positive energy to the people I share my life with.
I would love to be your Au Pair because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children (I have practical experience caring for kids aged 5, as well as dogs and assisting the elderly). I believe adults have so much to learn from little ones. I am endlessly fascinated by their spontaneity, their enthusiasm, and their ability to look at the world with pure wonder.
Why the Netherlands? I am drawn to your country's creative atmosphere, its colors, and its inspiring connection to nature. My goal is to study at the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague starting in 2027. Moving now will allow me to immerse myself in the culture, settle into the city, and continue my personal growth by sharing daily life with a welcoming family.
