Hello, dear host family!

My name is Diyan, and I’m from Indonesia. I’m an English Literature graduate and an English tutor who enjoys helping children learn, communicate, and become more confident.

I have experience teaching and interacting with children of different ages, and I’m comfortable creating a warm, patient, and positive environment for them. I enjoy activities that involve conversation, stories, pictures, games, and movement rather than simply sitting and studying.

I’m also a mother of two children, so childcare is a very real and important part of my everyday life. I have personally taken care of and raised both of my children, from their daily routines and learning to helping them understand their emotions, solve problems, follow boundaries, and become more independent. Being a mother has taught me to be patient, attentive, responsible, and—perhaps most importantly—to understand that every child has their own personality and needs.

As an au pair, I would love to become a supportive and trustworthy part of your family. I’m happy to help with your children’s daily routines, play with them, read with them, support their English learning, and take part in family activities. At the same time, I’m very interested in experiencing your culture and everyday family life, improving my language skills, and sharing Indonesian culture with you and your children.
