Hello future host family! ??

My name is Juliette, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Germany. I recently graduated from high school and I am currently living in Spain as an au pair. I would describe myself as caring, patient, responsible, reliable and open-minded. I really enjoy spending time with children and becoming a trusted and supportive person in their everyday lives.

I already have experience with children of different ages. At the moment, I take care of a 10-year-old girl in Spain. My responsibilities include picking her up from school, accompanying her to extracurricular activities, helping with homework and spending time together through games and everyday activities. We mainly communicate in English, and I especially enjoy reading stories and finding fun ways to practise the language together.

Before becoming an au pair, I also regularly babysat younger children and helped students with English, French and maths. I have also assisted with volleyball training for children aged 6–8. I completed a First Aid course and feel comfortable taking responsibility for children and adapting to their individual needs.

I speak German (native), French (fluent), English (C1) and Spanish (B1/B2). I really enjoy languages and would be happy to use my English or French with your children through conversations, games, books and everyday activities.

In my free time, I love playing volleyball and swimming, reading, listening to music, cooking, going to museums and concerts, travelling and exploring new places. I also really enjoy spending time outdoors and with friends.

For me, being an au pair is about much more than childcare. I would love to become a real part of my host family, build a trusting relationship with the children and share everyday life together. At the same time, I’m excited to experience Spanish culture, meet new people and grow personally through living abroad.

I am currently looking for a new host family in Madrid or the surrounding area. I can definitely stay until the end of March 2027 and potentially longer depending on my university plans. Since I am already in Spain, I would also be very happy to meet in person before deciding.
