Hello future host family! My name is Mae, and I’m from the Philippines. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I’m excited to start a new chapter and experience life in the Netherlands as an au pair.
I have experience taking care of my 4-year-old nephew, my brother’s son, and I’ve been helping care for him for around three years. Through taking care of him, I learned to be patient, responsible, and understanding, especially when children are upset or having difficult moments. I enjoy playing with him, helping him with simple things, and spending time together.
I would love to become part of a host family where we can learn from each other and share our cultures. I’m willing to help with the children’s daily routines and be someone they can feel comfortable around. At the same time, I’m excited to learn about Dutch culture, family life, and everyday life in the Netherlands.
