Hello! My name is Jhea, I’m a 26-year-old Filipina au pair currently living and working in Belgium. I’m a caring, responsible, patient, and easygoing person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and becoming part of a family’s everyday life.

I currently have experience caring for two children in Belgium, aged 4 and 7. Before coming to Belgium, I also worked as an au pair in the Netherlands, where I cared for three children aged 10, 12, and 14. Through these experiences, I have learned how to adapt to different personalities, ages, routines, and family lifestyles.

As an au pair, I’m comfortable helping with children’s daily routines, preparing breakfast and simple meals, getting them ready for school, picking them up, helping with homework, playing with them, and organizing fun activities. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks related to the children, such as keeping their rooms and play areas tidy, preparing their things for school, and helping with laundry.

I would describe myself as someone who is dependable and independent, but I also really value good communication with my host family. I understand that every family has different routines and expectations, so I’m always willing to listen, learn, and adapt. For me, being an au pair is not only about childcare but also about becoming a trusted and supportive member of the family.

I also enjoy learning languages and experiencing different cultures. Living abroad has helped me become more independent, open-minded, and confident. I would love to continue improving my language skills while also sharing my Filipino culture, food, traditions, and experiences with my future host family.

During my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, spending time with friends, studying languages, and discovering new food and cultures. I’m looking forward to finding a family where we can have mutual respect, open communication, and a warm relationship.
