Hello! My name is Bel, and I am a 24 year-old from the Philippines. I am very excited about the opportunity to introduce myself and hopefully become a part of your family as an au pair/childcare provider.

I am a caring, responsible, patient, and family-oriented person. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and supported. I have experience taking care of my nephews and niece in the Philippines, which has given me practical experience with children’s daily routines, preparing meals, keeping them safe, helping with their needs, and keeping them entertained and engaged.

I also have an NC II certification in childcare and elderly care, which has helped me develop practical skills, discipline, and responsibility. I have some college education and am always willing to learn new things and improve myself.

I understand that being welcomed into a family is about much more than simply taking care of children. I would love to build a respectful and trusting relationship with your family, learn about your culture and way of life, and share some of my own Filipino culture and traditions with you as well.

When caring for children, I believe that patience, communication, consistency, and understanding are very important. I would be happy to help with age-appropriate activities, preparing simple meals, organizing children’s belongings, helping with routines, and keeping the children’s environment clean and safe. I also understand the importance of respecting parents’ rules and following the routines and values that you have established for your children.

I am especially interested in learning more about your family—your children’s personalities, their interests, their daily routines, and what you are looking for in a childcare provider. I would also be happy to discuss your expectations regarding working hours, responsibilities, household rules, and living arrangements so that we can make sure we are a good match.

I am a hardworking and adaptable person, and I am willing to learn. Moving to another country would be a big step for me, but I am excited about the opportunity to grow personally, experience a new culture, and become part of a welcoming family.
