Au Pair job description

We are looking for an Au Pair to take care of our children after school until we come back from work around 7 pm and on wednesdays. This means : supervising the homeworks for the 2 oldest one, take them to outside school activities, entertain them and ensure they are for dinner when we come home. You may be requested to babysit from time to time, do some light household and occasionnally simple cooking. You will have free time during the day, and most evenings. Weekends are also free.

Dear Future Au Pair ! We are a cheerful family looking for a dynamic Au Pair to come and live with us in September 2009 for the school year. We need the Au Pair to speak good french to ensure that she will be understood by the children, especially the youngest one. But if she can also help our elder one with his English lessons and improve his accent, this is great ! Nous habitons dans un village résidentiel et dynamique en région parisienne près de Versailles à 20 kms de Paris, 45 minutes en transport en commun. Nous avons une grande maison avec un jardin. Vous aurez votre chambre et salle de douche privée. Si vous aimez la campagne mais vous voulez découvrir Paris et sa région, alors c'est l'idéal. Pendant votre temps libre, vous pourrez faire des activités dans le village (gym, cuisine, encadrement...), du cheval ou du golf ou bien profiter de la campagne, mais aussi le week-end, visiter Paris et la région. Nous avons 3 garçons de 11, 9 et 2 1/2 qui ont l'habitude d'être gardés par des babysitters/nourrices et ils sont ravis à l'idée d'avoir une grande "soeur" ! Nous avons besoin de vous pour garder les enfants après l'école, surveiller les devoirs et jouer avec eux.. Si vous aimez les enfants dynamiques et affectueux et avez envie de jouer à la grande soeur, alors vous serez ravie ! Nous serons heureux de vous accueillir dans notre famille, vous faire découvrir notre région. Nous sommes "easygoing", sociables et ouverts et ferons tout pour que votre séjour parmi nous soit agréable - j'ai moi-même été jeune fille au pair !
