My name is Leonarda, I am 19 years old, and I come from Croatia. I am a recently graduated Certified Midwife assistant after completing a rigorous 4-year professional medical program.
Throughout my 4 years of education, I gained extensive hands-on clinical experience in hospital departments and maternity wards, where I routinely handled newborn care, monitored vital signs, and assisted in medical environments. Additionally, I recently completed an intensive medical internship in a high-volume Emergency Room through the Erasmus+ program in Turkey, which further sharpened my first-aid skills, quick decision-making, and adaptability in fast-paced situations.
Alongside my hospital training, I also gained invaluable childcare experience during my practice at a Residential Children's Home (for underprivileged and orphaned children). There, I was fully responsible for caring for newborns, babies under the age of 2, and older children. This experience taught me how to manage multiple children of different ages simultaneously, establish routines, and provide deep emotional support and love to children who need it most.
Because of my background as a midwife assistant and my diverse experience with kids, working with babies and young children is not just a job for me, it is my profession. I have a deep understanding of newborn safety, infant care routines, hygiene standards, and emotional support. I am calm under pressure, empathetic, and fully trained in medical first aid.
I am looking to join a loving family as a Premium Au Pair. I want to provide a safe, nurturing, and professional environment for your children while learning about a new culture and sharing my own. As an EU citizen with a valid passport, I am fully flexible and ready to start.
