| Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies |
| We are a fun family with a great sense of humour and adventure. We live on a beautiful island 80 miles south of England and only 50 miles from the coast of France (Brittany). Although we are British we are not a part of England - we have our own government and currency and the island has a continental feel, with the population (60,000) a mix of British, French, Italian, Portuguese, Latvian and Polish. Our island has beautiful beaches and clear blue sea and we have two smaller islands close by which we visit regularly on my father's boat.
Our house is 5 minutes walk from the nearest shopping centre and a 15 minute drive from our main town, St Peter Port. As our island is only 24 square miles, nowhere is too far away! You will have your own room, car, net access.
My husband and I work full time and we will require you to take care of our two boys whilst we are at work between the hours of 8.30am until 4.30pm. Jack is four years old - he is alot of fun and has a wonderful imagination. He loves trains, anything to do with water, cars and generally running around the place, especially outdoors. He is very polite and caring. Max is six months old and is always smiling and gurgling. He is a very cuddly, cute baby and he adores his brother. We are sure that if you were to join our family you would have a great time and come away with fond memories. |
