Au Pair's Message to Families

Aloha everybody! My name is Laura. I'm 19 years old and I live in good old Germany :) For some months ago I finished school and I got my final secondary-school examinations. And now - everything is open for me! I want to experience the world and learn more about other cultures. But why should I be an Au Pair? For me this was a clear decision: Since I was ten years old I have to look after my little sister (there she was not yet one year old). This has an special cause which I would love to explain here, but it's very private... In a personal mail I feel like giving you answers. The next point is: I come from a huge family. I think we are about 15 cousins. The youngest one is one year old and the oldest one is 26 years old. I often have to look after my younger cousins. Also the point that in our home my aunt lives here too with her two girls (6&8years).. Now they are "school-kids" but before I have to take care of them nearly every weekend. So all through the years I didn't lose the routine with children. At least: some more private details about the live of Laura :) I've got a little white dog called Idefix since I was ten years old. (So I get to know what responsibility is) I'm a really uncomplicated person but I'm very very jumpy.. My hobbies are: travelling, running, painting, singing (but only when no one can here me), photographing, shopping, baking, etc. I really hope that I will win a little bit of your precious time and attention and maybe - I'm your next Au Pair ;)
