Au Pair's Message to Families

I am an outgoing and fun-loving person who is looking to visit new places and experience new cities through the eyes of the people who live there. I'm looking for a family that needs a hard-working Au Pair or nanny that can show their children the care and attention they deserve while also maybe teaching them some new skills along the way . I speak English and Hebrew fluently, but I am currently living in Berlin learning German. I have only lived here a few months, but absolutely love the city and Germany and would like to stay in the area as long as I can. I have been a camp counselor for nearly four years and watched over children from ages 6-16. I know how to handle a large group of raucous and energetic kids as sometimes I would have to look after group of 10 kids or more. I have also been a nanny in my hometown of Houston for years watching children as young as 2 and developing strong bonds with the families as I continued working for them from year to year. I just recently graduated from New York University in New York City and am eager to travel to a new city before I begin my graduate studies in a year or so. I studied photography and contemporary art and after graduating still really enjoy taking photos. I also love crafts and if I'm not taking pictures, I'm either knitting, crocheting, or sewing something for me to wear. I've just recently began learning more about computer programming and some basic electrical engineering and absolutely love adding a little bit of technology to all my crafts. I'm constantly making and creating and love to teach others the skills I've learned.
