Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are in the early planning stages of finding a live in aupair/nanny who will speak German to our children and who would like to experience the westcoast of Canada (Burnaby/Vancouver) in a Canadian family with German heritage. We will have one and possibly two children by the time you arrive. We would like someone to join our family who is flexible in the hours and days they work as we both work in a profession with non traditional hours. This means our work start time varies from early mornings to late afternoons and often run into the night. I work a four day on/four day off cycle and my husband is often out of town on business. In addition to minding the children we would also ask that you help with meals on our work days, cleaning and laundry for the children.
