Hello, my name is Mia, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced home schoolteacher with 5% nanny for 3 year old turning to 4 year old this year.
The ideal candidate will have experience in STEAM and Montessori educational methodologies, be a native English speaker, and have proficiency in one or more additional languages. They should be able to provide a stimulating, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for Luca after his regular school hours. The candidate should also possess a strong visa status or come from a country with visa-free access to most places.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a home school curriculum suitable for a 4 to 6-year-old child. The curriculum should incorporate STEAM and Montessori methodologies and encompass all areas of learning and development, such as English language skills, basic math, science, social studies, and the arts.
• Deliver interactive and engaging lessons that foster learning and curiosity.
• Monitor Luca's progress and adjust teaching methods to meet his needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents about Luca's progress, challenges, and achievements.
Requirements:
• Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in one or more additional languages is highly desirable.
• Experience in implementing STEAM and Montessori educational methodologies.
• Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field.
• Knowledge of current educational and instructional methodologies and techniques.
• Patience, creativity, and a love for working with children.
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Must have a strong visa status or come from a country with visa-free access to most places.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
• Working hours: After Luca's regular school hours, for a total of 8-10 hours per day.
Salary: $2000 per month, inclusive of home allowance.

The initial interview will be conducted online. Candidates who pass the initial interview will then be invited to a second, on-the-job interview in Europe this August. This will involve spending one week with our family and Luca. All travel and accommodation expenses for this on-the-job interview will be covered by us. This gives us an opportunity to determine if you are the best match for our family's needs.
