Introduction
Throughout my training and professional experience, I have worked with children in different settings, including schools, private speech therapy practice, specialised centres and hospital environments. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my communication and teaching approach to each learner's age, level, personality and specific needs.
As a tutor, I can support learners in French through conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading comprehension, written expression and general language development. I particularly enjoy making learning interactive and encouraging students to participate actively rather than simply memorising information.
My background in Speech-Language Pathology gives me a strong understanding of how language is acquired and developed. It also allows me to identify difficulties that may interfere with learning and to adapt activities accordingly. I am patient, attentive and comfortable working individually with learners who need additional support or a different learning approach.
I am currently completing a Complementary Certificate in Cognitive Remediation at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis. This training has further developed my understanding of cognitive processes involved in learning, including attention, memory and executive functions.
As part of my final-year Speech-Language Pathology project, I co-designed a play-based remediation tool targeting logical-mathematical skills in children with learning difficulties. The tool was experimented with approximately fifty children. This project strengthened my creativity and my ability to design engaging activities adapted to learners' needs.
I would be happy to work with children, teenagers or adults depending on their needs and learning goals. Whether a learner wants to improve their everyday French, prepare for school, strengthen their language skills or simply become more confident communicating in French, I aim to create a positive and personalised learning experience.
I am currently based in Tunisia and am also open to online tutoring and international opportunities.
