Dear Family, Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile! I would like you to read the following short introduction about myself and think if I am the right person to educate and take care of your little angels! My name is Virginia and I am a 26-year-old English Language/Literature Teacher from Greece. I grew up in Crete and raised within the banks of a happy family with strong bonds. I completed my undergraduate studies in English Language and Communication with English Literature in 2011 and since then I have been working as an English Language Teacher. During my studies I worked as an English Language Teacher/Au Pair for two years in Athens. My responsibilities involved teaching the English Language, picking up the children (2 boys, 9yrs & 6 yrs) from school, cooking, playing with them, assisting them to their studies etc. It was a really eye-opening experience that strongly enhanced my love for children. In my opinion, it is truly a unique privilege and experience to witness and participate in children's raising. I particularly enjoy learning how children perceive the world around them. Moreover, I feel very proud when I help them enrich their knowledge and step by step discover the world and everything it consists of. Being a teacher/au pair is an interconnected and interdependent journey, as everyone involved in the family learns from everyone. In order to maintain a good relationship among myself, the children and the parents I communicate excellent with the parents and inform them about everything regarding their children. I believe in responsible, honest and friendly communication/cooperation and these are some of the qualities that characterize me and my work. As a person, I am polite, pleasant, responsible and patient.Furthermore, I never stop reading and learning about foreign cultures, history, civilizations etc. and this is one of the main reasons that I enjoy multicultural environments. Therefore, I am seeking a responsible position among a lovely family in order to use my knowledge,abilities and experience in helping the parents raising their children.
