Dear Future Host Familie,
My name is Marsya and people usually call me Sasa. I am currently 20 years old and come from Indonesia. I graduated from SMK Negeri 1 Purbalingga in 2024, majoring in Online Business and Marketing. Able to communicate in Indonesian, English, Javanese, and basic German. There are four people in my family: my father (46), my mother (45), my little sister (8), and me. During my free time, I enjoy singing, drawing, inline skating, swimming, and reading. Occasionally, I like to spend my free time baking, doing pottery, learning new language and exploring new places.
Rahardjo is my father and he owns small business. He makes and sells traditional toys, similar to hand helicopter decorated with lights and cartoon stickers. Sometimes, my mother and I help him make the toys and pack them when we receive a lot of orders. My mother, Nani Wahyuni, works as tailor and food vendor at local school. Every evening, I helped her prepare food for sale. My parents always encouraged me to try many things in life and explore the world, because they believe the world is most beautiful when you see it up close. This inspired me to travel abroad, as it has become my motivation to grow, learn, and discover a deeper meaning in life. That is why I chose to become an Aupair. I also have younger sister, Aqilla Ardhanareswari, who studies at Islamic elementary school. Sometimes, I take her to school and pick her up afterward, and I also assist her with her homework every evening.
I have gained valuable childcare experience through my work as a kindergarten teacher assistant, a swimming coach intern, and by caring for my younger relatives. I looked after my cousins, Kenzie (6) and Syifa (13), as well as my nieces and nephews aged Arkan (1), Ara (2), and Arsya (5). My responsibilities included picking them up from school, helping with homework, feeding them, reading stories, teaching numbers and letters, playing educational and outdoor games, and ensuring their safety. I can also help with household chores such as cooking simple meals, making beds, washing dishes, and performing light household cleaning. These experiences have made me patient, responsible, and confident that I can support your family as a caring and reliable au pair.
