Hi there! I’m Anna. I’m a 22-year-old student from Italy, and I’m currently finishing up my degree in International and Diplomatic Sciences (I’ll be graduating in October 2026!).

My love for Ireland started with the music. I’ve been a massive fan of Irish bands and artists for years, and that’s what really sparked my curiosity about the country. It even led me to write my final university thesis on Ireland! (I’d love to tell you more about it if you’re interested ?). I’m looking for an au pair role because I want to really soak up the Irish culture and explore the beautiful nature (weather permitting, of course! xD).

I have experience with babysitting and I really enjoy spending time with kids. I genuinely miss the lightheartedness that comes with hanging out with them.

I’d describe myself as a very cheerful and responsible person. I’m also highly sensitive which, for me, is a bit of a superpower when it comes to childcare. It helps me really tune into how kids are feeling, making me very empathetic and easy to connect with.

I’m also really looking forward to improving my English. I’d love to learn from the kids while we play (and maybe I can teach them some Italian in return!). Hopefully, I’ll even pick up a bit of an Irish accent along the way xD

My interests and hobbies:
•Music: I’m a big fan of live music and I love going to gigs, festivals, and collecting records. I’ve tried to learn the guitar a few times... I’m not very good yet, but I’d love to give it another try!
•Crochet: I’ve recently picked up crochet; it’s my favourite way to wind down and it actually reminds me of making "Scoubidous" when I was a kid. I’d love to teach the kids how to crochet—I think we’d have a great time making little projects together.
•Animals: I’m a huge cat person (I grew up with a cat who was basically my big sister!), and I’ve worked as a cat sitter for friends and family. So, if you have pets, they’ll definitely be getting lots of cuddles from me!
•Nature: I love long walks and I’m desperate for some fresh air. My home city is a bit lacking in parks, so I’d love to be somewhere where I can get out into nature or hop on a bike, either on my own or with the kids.


Another thing about me is that I’m a vegetarian. I’m perfectly fine living with people who eat meat and fish, but I’d like to keep my vegetarian diet in your home. Maybe I could even show you how tasty veggie food can be by making something nice for everyone to try every now and then!
