Job Description
The purpose of this role is to improve the quality of life and to offer emotional and physical support in all daily activities.
The caregiver will provide one on one care for a single person at home and travel with her.
Responsibilities
- managing a patients healthcare plan according to doctors instructions.
- bathing and grooming and toileting the patient daily - ensure that good hygiene is maintained.
- checking blood pressure daily and maintaining records, pulse and blood sugar.
- administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication.
- support the patient with daily exercise routine as instructed by doctors.
- should be able to prepare breakfast and basic meals such as sandwiches, salads and soup.
- ensure that regular hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the living environment.
- Monitor her appetite and support and encourage an active lifestyle
