Care Duties: Ensuring the client is safe and comfortable at all times. Administering the client's daily medication (1 for her thyroid and 1 for indigestion). Driving the client where required. Helping client to organise herself with apointments and social life.

Housekeeping Duties: The client has a cleaner come in once a week. Light housekeeping/maintenance duties including clearing up and washing up after meals. Helping with technology issues that come up including mobile phone, tv, heating etc. Assisting the client with physical tasks such as moving some furniture or organising her belongings. Assisting with shopping and online tasks like shopping and emailing. Assisting on occasion with Italian bureaucracy as her fluent Italian is fading a little and she is easily confused and overwhelmed.

Cooking Duties: Preparing and cooking some meals

The client is 85 and has recently had a hip replacement. She is currently recuperating at home after an extended stay in hospital. Her family are looking for someone who can work part-time or full-time and will live in the studio apartment just below her and be the first point of call for support and help. She enjoys watching TV (british comedy, classical music, ballet and opera), listening to music and socialising with her friends. She also likes to go to musical concerts occasionally and needs to be encouraged to go for walks. She has a wide circle of friends in the area and normally has a busy social life and enjoys hosting her friends for coffee, aperitif and occasional meals. She also enjoys going out for meals, walks and activities.

We are looking for someone who can support her to live independantly in her much loved, small apartment overlooking lake Albano.
