My Mom is sweet and kind. She has recently lost my Dad, she is heart broken and lonely. The Dementia has made her very very scared to be alone. She truly panics. My husband and I both work, and my last child is leaving for college in August. So I need help with my mom. She is self sufficient in personal hygiene.Very clean and put together. She has no desire to cook and I have shut off her stove for fear of her forgetting it is on. She has a large 2 bedroom apartment in my home, so she currently eats with us. Someone to do light cooking for her would be lovely. To make sure she eats enough! Someone to make her laugh, and keep her company, maybe go food shopping with her. Light housekeeping. And a must to sleepover. It’s the nights that worry her. Once she is sleeping, she is perfectly fine. Just a true caregiver/companion would be wonderful.
