Job Description
As Jim's primary caregiver, I would train a live-in person to take care of him. Jim has a feeding tube and a tracheostomy. He is non-verbal, incontinent and somewhat contracted. He is generally in his hospital bed. We have a hoyer lift if we need to move him around, put him in a chair, go to the shower, etc. I have LPN nursing help but several times a week a 12 hour shift is not filled so help is needed. I've just had surgery and will be having another one on April 18th, so will not be able to do lifting, turning, etc. for a few more months.
