I am self motivated individual, hardworking, caring and trustworthy. I can work under minimum supervision ,I learn quickly . completed diploma in Nursing in 2019. I have also attended short course training in HIV Management and Basic Psychosocial Counseling.
I worked as CIDRZ Consultant Nurse in Covid 19 Isolation Wards at Levy MUTH during Covid 19 waves, between March 2021 to August 2022, where I had the opportunity to learn Critical Nursing Care for Severely ill patients. I have also worked in medical and surgical wards at Chilenje General Hospital from June 2020 to March 2021, where I learned how to improvise in Resource limited setting, how to work in a team, and good record keeping skills. I worked at Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital (LMUTH) Medical Extension Unit from June 2022 to August 2022. During that time I was recognised as being hardworking, reliable, applies critical thinking skills effectively and able to meet targets under minimal supervision. During the third wave of Covid 19 I was stationed in maternity ward for Covid 19 pregnant patients where I learned and applied Midwifery skills. I have also worked at the LMUTH RESUS unit for three months where I learnt Basic Emergency Care and Advanced Life Support skills.
I also had the opportunity to train Student Nurses from various schools while volunteering in the various hospitals. I was able to develop my interpersonal skills, improve communication skills, learn basic teaching techniques and approaches, and picked up skills of developing rapport with students.
