Very comfortable with children, even without formal professional experience: I’m playful, patient, and caring. My deep desire to be a mother has always strengthened my natural bond with them.
Excellent cook – I love sharing and introducing others to my recipes.
Over 40 years of driving experience.
Trained in bodywork and personal development.
Handy and creative: drilling, painting, furniture assembly, small DIY tasks – I truly enjoy it!
Sewing experience: alterations, machine sewing, small handmade projects.
About Me:
My name is Teresa, I’m 61 years old, Swiss-Portuguese, and the proud mother of a wonderful adopted daughter from Colombia, now an adult. I chose adoption because I’m unable to have children, and I couldn’t imagine a life without them. I’ve always felt a deep need to give love and build meaningful connections.
Today, I am fortunate to be able to fulfill a lifelong dream: to spend a few months abroad, living with a family, to practice English and enrich myself through human connection.
I’m trustworthy, joyful, young at heart, responsible, and open-minded. I love learning, sharing, and discovering new perspectives. I’ve been practicing personal development for years through retreats and workshops, and I’m also trained in the Méthode de Libération des Cuirasses (MLC) – a gentle yet profound body-mind practice that I offer as a certified practitioner.
About My English:
I have a basic understanding of English (learned at school and through various courses), but I still find it challenging to follow fluent conversations. That’s exactly why I’ve created this project: to live in full immersion and improve my listening and speaking skills in real-life situations.
