Introduction
I am a certified Geriatric caregiver. I strongly believe that my passion and sincere desire to help the elderly as well as the sickly makes me the perfect candidate for the job.
I have always taken the “giver” in “caregiver” very seriously and as such will devote myself to the selfless care of all my clients. I take an approach that focuses on dedicating myself to ensuring not only the mental health of patients, but also their happiness.
I assist clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease with daily living needs. I work under the guidance of a registered nurse to help implement memory care, physical care, and psycho-emotional care optimizing client’s quality of life.
I am deeply committed to treating my clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, or other personal care.
In my qualifications, it’s been my absolute pleasure to assess medical needs, prepare a care plan, assist with basic needs, provide companionship, help with housekeeping, monitor medications, asses a care plan regularly, prepare nutritious meals, assist with transfer and mobility and provide transportation.
