My name is Shiela and I am a certified caregiver who finished training a few months ago. Although I do not have paid experience as a caregiver, I have volunteered in Home care and PT/OT Rehabilitation and wellness center in Cebu, Philippines. I have a soft spot for elders as I grew up living with my great-grandfather and taking care of him.
In addition, I have experience working as an all-around housekeeper for a couple who both work as doctors for 5 years. I also acted as their two children's nanny or babysitter. I am familiar with kids because I am the oldest of seven siblings. My experience as a housekeeper has helped me develop excellent organizational and multitasking skills. I am confident that my experience and skills make me an ideal candidate for this position.
Despite having multiple work experiences, I have realized that my professional journey has just begun, and I am eager to acquire more skills and knowledge through new work experiences that I have yet to encounter. While I may not be able to showcase all of my past work experiences in my resume, I am constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand my skill set and grow as a professional. Therefore, I am always open to exploring new roles and responsibilities that will enable me to acquire new skills and gain diverse work experiences that will help me further advance my career.
