I am a graduate of a vocational course in caregiving and healthcare services. I have two NC2 for caregiving and healthcare services. I did my OJT at St. Vincent Strambi, a home for the elderly. I worked night shift, 12 hours a day for 10 days. Here are my everyday task:
Assist three patients with different needs
Prepare their meals, vitamins, and warm water for their bath
Administering of vitamins and other medicines prescribed by health professionals
Assisting patients with eating and drinking
Changing of diaper
Assist the patient in bathing
Prepare their daily essentials
Changing of soiled linens and bed making
Assist in transporting the patient
Assist the patients with their daily routines
Taking and monitoring of vital signs
Attend to patients' concerns and needs

My love for taking care of children and the elderly made me pursue this field of work. Meeting their needs and wants every day is my top priority, especially when it comes to their health and happiness.
