Hello. I'm Ruthsen from Philippines. My luck bring me to Singapore to care a 78 year old grandmother. She have a lot of complication due to her diabetes and also she have a respiratory problem. Her lungs have a lot of water that may cause sometimes she's difficult to breath at night when she laydown on bed. I'm the one who look after her in 15 months and the same time i do housework. I do shot her insulin twice a day and must watch the time properly as she will feel dizzy if the time not to follow. I'm the one also give her medicines. Also i must watch the time of it. Medication for her diabetes , for lungs, highblood, for kidney. And all of that medicines i need to grind to make it powder and dissolve on water as she can't swallow the whole tablets or caplets or capsules. I also bath her, assist in walking,changing diaper, and preparing her meal. As she hav a diabetes he can easily got wound. Sowhen we go for her check up the podiatrist teach me how to clean and make sure to make it dry everytime. As her wound was on her toe finger. The two finger was affected and if can't care properly it will spread on the other finger. So when i shower her i need to wrap her foot with plastic for it and must put on the chair to make sure it will not wet. I do also get her blood sugar and her blood preasure everytime. Do catheter on her as her kidney never funtion well. Si her urine can be out. Also her water intake per they must cut. I must manage the water she take from her coffee, for medicines and her soup. And i must watch him when she was sleeping so i sleep with her on her room. Thank you so much for reading my profile. Have a nice day.:-)
