Dear host family,

It is an honor to present to you my application as an Au pair.

I am Evangeyn , 24 years old single from Philippines. I am a hardworking person who doesn’t like to give up, motivated and detail-oriented individual offering a deep passion for kids as well as for elderly. Strong attention to safety. A reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation I am passionate about my work because I love what I do; I have a steady source of motivation that drives me to do my best. I’d like to learn new skills that help me to do better. I am a sporty and loves to play with kids.

In my free time I like listening to music and watching movies like cartoons, action movies and fairy tales. I love to hang out with my younger sister’s friends even though I’m a bit older than them. I also like gardening and having adventure. I have strong interpersonal skills that's why my friends would say that I am friendly and funny person

I am good at managing household chores because when I was a kid my parents trained me to do household chores. They never let me play with my friends if I don’t finish my task. From my elementary years up to college I spend my most of my summer into my auntie’s house for someone to help her with her daily household chores and to have someone to take care of her. I still remember every occasion or celebration my relatives would like to ask me for help to clean their house for the preparation, to be a dishwasher and everything. If they are out of town I I would stay in their house like around more 1-2 months.

I had my experiences in child care because my sister’s daughter is live with us with my mom she’s about more than 1 years old so I had to take care of her like bathing , eating, changing diapers and everything because my mom is also a busy person. I had also experience in taking elderly it is my auntie but the experience is not quite long.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Office administration. I took also a technical vocational course which is caregiving and was completed last February 14, 2022 and passed my NCII holder last June 01, 2022. I had my On-The-Job-Training at Safe Haven assisted living and Sisters of the Sacred Heart PT/OT rehabilitation center. This experience had helped me to develop multiple important abilities required to successfully execute the job. Throughout my journey in caregiving, I realized that being able to help someone in their vulnerable times is amazing. Having known that you are touching the lives of people and transforming their lives can be very emotionally fulfilling. It makes my heart flutter when someone thanks me for helping them. That’s why I want to be an au pair. I want to pursue my passion for caring people especially for the elderly and also for the children.

If you will give me a chance to be part of your family it would be my dream come. I will not make any promise but I believe in myself that I can do well the entire task that given into me. I am faithful and helpful. And I am a person who loves his work with both children and elderly who performs this work with great dedication, commitment and ambition. The safety and well-being of the children is my first priority.
