I am trained to provide the care and services needed to ensure that senior citizens receive all the comfort and dignity that is essential for them to ensure an excellent quality of life I understand trust is a very serious matter, especially when deciding on a caregiver for an elderly family member. I strive to earn that trust. I take pride in the fact that I provide services that meet the unique, individual needs of each person I care for, whether that is helping them with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming, providing mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and of course, companionship, as well as providing them with meaningful emotional support. I do this by taking the time to get to know each person, and developing a good relationship with them by conversing with them, doing activities with them, and spending time listening to them. My first priority concern is the safety of the elderly I have to care for. I understand that I am expected to keep an eye on any changes in their overall health, mental, and/or emotional condition, and I do keep their family members informed of any changes I notice, as I am asked to do. I strive to keep a calm presence, and do my best to help in my effort to create an environment that is warm and supportive to all seniors, in order to help them know that their feelings of worth and safety, in the elderly I care for, are highly valued.
