My name is Joan but my close friends call me Ythira.
I am a nurse by profession. I have experience in bedside nursing and caregiving to include giving medication,providing companionship,running errands,physiotherapy and many more tasks. I am very passionate about helping people and providing the best care I can to improve quality of life and activities of daily living. I have been taking care of the elderly and children with special needs for more than two years now. It is a fulfilling job and I wouldn't have it any other way.
A little bit about myself is that I come from a family of five. I have two elder brothers,making me the lastborn.We also live with our grandma who is 100 years. We all chip in in taking care of her since she has been living with stroke and dementia for quite a while now.
My hobbies include travelling,trying new cuisine,learning new cultures,art galleries,swimming and making new friends.There is probably more. My strengths include paying attention to details,flexibility,patience and an all round quick learner. My weakness would be that I take time to open up and I could be a tard-bit 'over organized'
