Dear family,
I’m pleased to write you today regarding my application for the Caregiver Position. I'm previously an Au pair in Norway and currently staying in Italy. I am available to start this December and onwards.
As a dedicated caregiver to elderly residents of assisted living home care, I am an excellent match for the caregiver position. I believe my qualifications and experience make me an ideal candidate for this job. During this time, I’ve been recognized as a dedicated, ambitious and reliable person who has the ability to work without supervision.
At a young age, I became interested in providing care. I volunteered to help my grandmother when I was a teenager. She was a fragile woman in her late seventies who needed help with practically everything. Unlike my relatives who had full-time work, I was always accessible, therefore I accepted the responsibility of becoming one of her caregivers. The more I spent time with her, the more I was convinced this is what I want to do professionally. I earned a degree in Caregiver after at ACTEC - Asian Caregiving and Technology Education Centers, Inc and later a degree in the same. I had my on-the-job training as a caregiver at Green Breeze Home for the Elderly, where I assisted residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease with daily living needs. I work under the guidance of other experienced Caregivers and Registered Nurses to help implement and support resident care plans, which include providing services to aid in memory care, physical care and psycho-emotional care optimizing residents’ quality of life.
My goal is to gain their trust and remove any worry they may experience while requiring assistance with bathing, using the restroom, grooming, or other personal care. I am deeply committed to treating my senior clients with dignity and respect. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoy working with elderly residents. Though I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents, the ongoing lessons I have learned from them have in return made a lasting impact on my life.
I think we may both benefit from working together because I'm looking for a challenging workplace where I can use my skills to their utmost potential.
