Dear Family

I am a really happy young early childhood educator with outstanding skills and experience, looking for a family who can take me as another member of the family or as their children’s big sister.

I love children and I have the energy and desire to be around them and take really good care of them. As I am very resourceful, I feel highly prepared to develop and implement daily activities that can support and promote the development of your children.

My university studies and experience along with my capacity to communicate things will help me lead your children in activities by telling or reading stories. I have a lot of artistic skills too, and therefore can prepare craft materials and demonstrate their use to the kids under my charge providing opportunities to express their creativity through the media of art, or dramatic play. I love to decorate my room or my classroom with beautiful designs I create on my own. I worked doing and teaching my art to other colleagues in a school for over six months.(when i was in Peru)

I can sign very well and I enjoy singing along with them. I really value and appreciate any kind of art and I have realized that this is a good way to make children express their inner part.

I have experience as a nanny, a babysitter in my free time, and also as a private tutor. I have worked with children from 2 to 10 years old and I have even worked at birthday parties wearing fancy dress outfits and providing fun for some time. When working as a private tutor, I have to help children with their homework, reinforce pronunciation, as well as their reading and writing skills.

I know that a problem shared is a problem halved and therefore I would like to find a family who I can talk to about the children’s day and the things that did not go right during the day or during the week.

I was raised and educated in a Christian home and I was taught about the importance of respect and obedience to God and my parents. I am very respectful of all people’s beliefs and I love to be respected in the same way. I want to play a good role model to your children and help you organize their daily activities. I also love animals and I willing to take care of them if it does not interfere with my responsibility with your kids. I can manage big groups of children but I have to confess that I would not really feel very comfortable if I have to deal with more than four children every day, especially at home, I hope you understand.

I also volunteer at a literacy campaign run by the government where I teach children and adults to read and write, as this is a big problem we face in our country. I have worked in this program during this year, usually on Saturdays and Sundays.

I have some additional skills that can be very useful when running your household, for example, I can cook really well and I feel proud of our Peruvian dishes. I do not know much about yours but I am sure I can learn very quickly.

My ideal family should be a friendly one with lots of fun and outdoor activities very open to dialogue and if you are located in Toronto or nearby then that would be superb. My written English is good but I still need to work on my spoken English as I feel a little nervous when I start a conversation with a native speaker. I am taking English classes on a daily basis and I am sure I will soon gain fluency once I am there. You can evaluate this on a interview at your own time.
