Hello! My name is Yazmín, and I’m so happy you’re reading my profile.
My experience in caring for older adults comes from my own family. I was raised by my grandparents, and when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer when I was 20, I took care of her, ensuring she had everything she needed—from bathing and medications to my full attention and care. Before coming to Vancouver, I also cared for my grandfather, a wonderful but very stubborn 70-year-old man, providing him with the support and assistance he needed.
When I arrived in Vancouver, I worked as a nanny for three months, caring for a lovely little girl and a wonderful family.
I have completed a First Aid and CPR course.
I should mention that I am currently learning English. I can communicate well, but I am improving every day. Helping you or your loved ones would also help me practice and enhance my language skills.
Additionally, I worked in customer service for three years. While it’s not directly related, it taught me how to interact with all kinds of people, be patient, and remain friendly in any situation.
