Introduction
Hi everyone! My name is Adriana, I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor’s in Child Development and Family Studies. I am CPR, AED and first aid certified and for the last two and a half years I have worked as a lead teacher over at Calvin Christian preschool in Escondido, teaching kindergarten Prep. Before that I worked as a nanny for 8+ years for a few different families, as well as an individual support aid in special education. In between all of that, before getting married I helped care for my 98 year old grandmother, I lived with her for a few years so I could provide daily care and companionship. I have been on maternity leave for the last few months after giving birth to my daughter in June and have decided not to go back to teaching, as I didn’t want to leave her. I’m looking for a care position where I can bring my daughter along with me. I baby wear her, so she is used to being strapped to me throughout the day while I get things done, she also loves being around people. I believe being around children is great for the elderly and provides an additional kind of companionship.
