The baby boomers are aging and living lonely all over the country. My mother has dementia; it was difficult at first. I adjusted quickly to the whole diaper issue and bathing. When nannying; children bubble to make us happy. When caring over the elderly… I bubble to make them happy.

I LOVE caring over people. But it does drain me by Friday. Take note: I work Monday through Friday Afternoon and I’m OFF on weekends!!
If I forsake this recharging time at your request, my weekend fee is $400. My salary for personal chef is $1000 per week /off on weekends and I will leave weekend meals while I take respite if you request.
I don’t waste
If you appreciate my need for time off but have no other means of Care set up on weekends —> I will work weekends adding my weekend salary to the weekly salary. A contract will be needed To include this & paid vacations if you want me to work more than five days a week. I can work 24 /7 and if you have me as a live-in -you have a 24 /7 need. Many people are saying “This is not a 24 seven job” when in fact, it is. I usually charge more for live-in despite the fact that I’m saving on rent in your town. I still have my own residence in North Carolina to tend to. I leave my home and the peace of it; to come into yours-for your needs. Living with you is a benefit to you, not so much me. I’d prefer going home every night to rest and rejuvenate for the next day at hand. There must be free time in every caregivers life. AWAY. If you are seeking reliable help, please remember this. Not just with me But with anyone you choose to care over your parent/s. You don’t want to sabotage the very thing you’re looking for by not happily giving respite to your caregiver. One of the greatest mistakes I ever made was allowing Myself to get drained in a live in position where the family never realized the energy to care over someone quickly leaves when you don’t get respite. I’m a highly positive & motivating human; no problem bringing LIFE into any room; but without respite - life gets vampired from me. During your search allow your candidates to ask you question especially if you’re inviting them to come to your home. It’s not hard to answer questions like, “Can your father walk freely and does he need to be bathed, or does he take care of those things himself?” On this end, getting a text saying, “we’ll talk about it when you get here.“ Is not only frustrating it is highly suspicious and starts off on the wrong foot. Always remember: you know all about me from my references & in depth interview; I know nothing of you. I’m single on purpose and find it rude & out of order for others to set me up with their friends or family members. It’s happened. And it’s more than uncomfortable to be viewed as someone you met on a dating site. It’s happened plenty of times, And I’d like to say this is my career not a job. My life ministry; not a momentary thought. I’d like you to protect me from that uncomfortable moment. I told you I was frank, upfront, and honest and I am simply displaying that now. There’s nothing worse than going into Another families home environment, being told they accept you as a new “family member“, left vulnerable, in an agreement and contract, and then someone making innuendos and trying to come on to me. I am single by choice and I’ve never met a man yet that has swayed that decision. Not on a manhunt and I already tried the married life. I choose to live a chaste life. Celebrate that decisions with me. Please protect me from uncle Joe or cousin Vinny. I appreciate your understanding and hope you smiled at my ability to say exactly what’s on my mind when imperative.
