Introduction
My name is Ray Tinotenda, 21 years old, Zimbabwean based in South Africa. I have a valid Zimbabwean passport and I am available immediately for full-time live-in or live-out senior care, and I am open to relocation abroad with visa sponsorship.
I have 3+ years informal hands-on experience caring for elderly family and community members. My daily duties included:
Personal care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and maintaining dignity and privacy.
Mobility support: Helping with walking, transfers from bed to chair, light exercises and fall prevention.
Medical support: Medication reminders, monitoring health changes, administering basic medication, checking blood pressure when needed.
Daily living: Cooking healthy meals per diet, feeding assistance, laundry, housekeeping, grocery shopping and keeping the home safe and clean.
Companionship: Providing emotional support, conversation, reading, walks and reducing loneliness.
I am a patient, respectful, trustworthy and physically fit young man. I treat every senior with the same love and respect as my own grandparents. I am fluent in English and Shona, I have a clean criminal record, and I am a fast learner willing to follow any care plan or training provided by the family.
I do not have a formal nursing certificate yet, but I have real experience and a genuine passion for elderly care. I am ready to work hard and learn.
