Dear Host Family,

My name is Maristela B. Marzan, and I am a 27-year-old Filipino who is excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair and be part of a welcoming family abroad.

I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and throughout my studies, I learned the importance of being responsible, patient, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of others. My nursing education also taught me how to stay calm in different situations, communicate respectfully, follow instructions, and care for people with different personalities and needs. I believe these qualities would help me become a reliable and caring Au Pair.

In addition to my education, I also have two years of housekeeping experience, which helped me develop strong skills in cleaning, organizing, maintaining a comfortable home environment, and managing household routines. This experience taught me to be detail-oriented, responsible, hardworking, and independent. I am comfortable helping with everyday household tasks and understand the importance of keeping a home clean, organized, and welcoming.

I consider myself a responsible, hardworking, respectful, patient, and trustworthy person. I am also a fast learner and willing to adapt to a new environment, culture, household routine, and way of life. I understand that being an Au Pair is not simply about traveling to another country. It is about becoming a temporary member of a family, helping with daily routines, supporting the children, and building a relationship based on trust and respect.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and would be happy to help with age-appropriate activities, playing, reading, preparing simple meals, helping with homework, accompanying them to activities, and keeping their daily routines organized. I am also willing to assist with light household tasks related to the children and contribute to maintaining a comfortable and organized home.

As someone from the Philippines, I would also love to share my culture, traditions, food, language, and experiences with your family. At the same time, I am very interested in learning about your country’s culture, traditions, language, and everyday family life. I believe an Au Pair experience is a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange and personal growth.

I am not looking for a family simply because I want to travel. I am looking for a genuine cultural exchange experience where I can contribute to a family while learning, growing, and creating meaningful memories with them.
