Hello! We are two private pilots with a 16 month old son. We are looking for someone to care for our son while we are both away flying. Our schedules vary greatly from week to week, and we need someone who is willing to be flexible with us. Sometimes we do not need childcare for a whole week or more if we are home, but sometimes we will need someone to stay with our son for a few days in a row, including overnight. The hours vary greatly, but there is quite a bit of time off for you, the au pair. We are wanting to have our son learn a second language from our au pair, and we would love to find someone who becomes a part of our family. For stability for our son, we would like to find someone who can stay for more than a few months.

We have two older children (ages 10 and 6) who will be with us for a few weeks during the summer, but they primarily live with their mother in another state. We also have an older dog who is very friendly and she will also need to be cared for when we are both away flying.

We would prefer a live-in au pair, but we are open to a live-out as long as you live very close to us, have your own transportation, and can come over quickly if we get a last-minute call to go fly. We really want someone who is trustworthy, honest, reliable, and willing to be flexible with our non-standard schedules. We have two cars and we are willing to share them with a licensed au pair to have free time away from the house. You would also have your own room and a shared bathroom just with the children.
