Introduction
My experience began with watching my step mother's dog, Bentley. He always had intense separation anxiety and as he got older, he's developed arthritis, needs a diaper regularly and moves a bit slower. I've also dealt with a dog that was close to passing who'd also developed arthritis, diabetes and a form of cancer. It was very hard to watch him go through but I always kept up with his medications until it was time for him to go.
Otherwise, I personally have two cats (one that acts more like a dog), that I've had since they were babies and any dog or cat I see, I stop to say hi.
I have small experience with exotic pets like snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs and similar pets.
