I’ve always had animals growing up, and I absolutely love them. I’ve had all kinds of animals over the years, including dogs, cats, fish, a hamster, and a bunny, and I’ve even had experience caring for eels. Right now I have a dog, a cat, and a fish. My dog is a senior and is turning 20 soon, so I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with special needs. He has hip dysplasia, as well as some vision and hearing impairment, and I’m comfortable giving him medication and making sure he gets the care he needs.
I’ve also pet sat for other people and have experience with dog walking. I’m very open to working with new animals and learning their individual routines. If a pet needs a certain type of medication, has a specific routine, or needs to be cared for a certain way, I’m more than willing to learn and make sure I’m doing everything the way their owner wants.
I’m actually hoping to work with animals in the future, especially in the animal medical field. I went to school for animal sciences and prevet, and I’m currently taking a little break from school. I only have a few classes left before I finish my bachelor’s, and I’m really looking forward to going back.
I genuinely have a passion for animals and really enjoy being around them. I’ve always been really good with animals, and I honestly can’t think of a pet I’ve interacted with that hasn’t liked me lol. I’m patient, caring, and I really enjoy making sure animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
