Job Description
We’re two guys living and working in Budapest. We're both running businesses and looking for help with day-to-day tasks that take up time and energy we’d rather spend on work or rest. We’re looking for someone reliable and detail-oriented to help with basic errands and keeping the apartment clean and organized. Nothing overly complicated – we just want things handled well so we don’t have to think about them.
This is a part-time role to start, and if it’s a good fit, it could grow into more hours or responsibilities over time.
The main tasks will include general cleaning and tidying of the apartment, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, doing laundry (washing, folding, and organizing), taking out trash and recycling, grocery shopping, and handling simple errands like pharmacy runs, package returns, or picking up supplies. It would also be helpful if you can keep track of what’s running low in the house.
It’s a bonus if you’re open to things like light meal prep, helping plan food or meals, booking appointments, or managing basic household tasks, but those are not required.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, consistent, and organized. You should be comfortable working independently, taking initiative when something needs to get done, and easy to communicate with. Basic English is required (Hungarian is a plus). Above all, we’re looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, and trustworthy.
