All of these roles involved clerical and administrative duties, as well as financial administration for some.
I then became an entrepreneur and started and ran two of my own businesses: a house cleaning business, then, for 10 years until the pandemic, I had a successful business in NYC as a wellness practitioner which I ran entirely on my own. I also have a background in sales, working for a few years for Brian Tracey in his sales and business education, which not only was a formative experience in the field of sales and marketing, but was as well educational for me in terms of client communication and how to run a business, and is still a positive influence on me today in how how I communicate with new or current clients. I worked with many luxury hotels and high-end clients in NYC for my own business.
While I am a native English speaker, and experienced with formal English communication, I also speak and write Italian. I have been attending language school since March of last year, and plan to attend University part time in 2024. Currently my Italian is at a B1-B2 level (I passed the B1 CILS in December and just took the B2 exam).
Currently since I am focusing on my studies in Florence, I am not looking to open another business of my own, but would love still utilize my skills from past work to assist someone else as an assistant as I did in the past when I was in college. I am self-motivated, organized and very much enjoy the stimulation of this type of work.
