Dear family and friends,
I'm an almost 69 years old German woman, but feel much younger as I have always been surrounded by children and young people. I have worked as PA for several international companies and have organized expositions on trade fairs and international medical congresses. I have been in the medical sector for almost 25 years. Currently, I am engaged in social projects of the University of Applied Sciences of Düsseldorf and Duisburg-Essen. I travel a lot and give lectures on social issues and possible solutions. During my free time I take care of seniors and refugees. Sometimes I work as a freelance language teacher and translator. I speak English and French fluently and have some basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian. Since almost 11 years I'm a volunteer at a Refugees Welcome Center, a social non-profit and charity organization, where I work with kids between 8 and 15 years of age with difficult background and young traumatized refugees.
I am also involved in language teaching for migrants and have 3 years of experience with Kumon.
I had first-aid training at the Red Cross, at the Malteser Hilfsdienst ofand defibrillator training with the Johanniters. 25 years of experience as personal assistant at the University Hospital, organization of congresses and many more.
I am a kind, loving and caring person. I love to be with people from all over the world, with any ethnic background as long as they are tolerant. I love traveling, learning about different cultures, cooking, music, literature, arts, spirituality, computing and learning from others.
Since my father's death in 2008 (he died from lung cancer) and my divorce in 2014 I have been living live alone, as my 39 years old daughter has moved to Spain 6 years ago.
My mom died 2 years ago.
I neither smoke nor drink (only on special occasions.
I love pets. However, I might need a medication when I'm in contact with cats or Guinea pigs but can tolerate them when they're not living inside the house.
I feel young enough to relocate. My favorite places to go would be Ireland and Scotland, Turkey, Cyprus, New Zealand, Australia and Canada, but I am rather flexible. Please consider that - depending on the country I will have to travel to - I might need a visa.
